Report from Judith and Ernst Scheidegger

Dear Mr. Beer

A few weeks have passed since our children, Judith and Ernst, were with you for tutoring. We keep noticing new improvements; for example,

Judith: It's a joy to see how confidently she's skied this winter. She was able to break free from the stem turn and skis swiftly down the hill.

She can laugh heartily at the pranks played at school. However, she can now also 'call out' when something doesn't please her. We hadn't seen that before.

Ernst: Reading is basically no longer a problem for him. It's still not his favorite activity, but we didn't expect it to be. We are very grateful that he can now understand the content whenever he wants to read something. He hasn't made a single mistake in his dictation since the tutoring. Before, he couldn't write a dictation without making mistakes, no matter how often we practiced it at home.

I'm always fascinated to watch him write. He now hears the letters when he says a word to himself.

The swimming thing is unrelated. He's still too afraid to let go and trust the water. He probably needs a little more time with that, but we're happy to give it to him.

We were delighted to hear that you'll be giving a lecture in Walterswil soon. We sincerely hope that your method of support, which never ceases to fascinate us, will be well received.

I'm always amazed at how little our teachers understand your system. At parent-teacher meetings, we hear things like, "If he needs it again, just go back to Mr. Beer," even though we've explained a few times that this therapy generally has a lasting effect.

Now we wish you all the best and remain

Sincerely,

Rudolf and Marianne Scheidegger, Walterswil
